Foundation
Sowndeeswari Middle School was established with just 2 teachers and 20 students as a primary school in the fragrant hills of Bodinayakanur.
First Expansion
School expanded to accommodate 50 students with the addition of new classrooms and 2 more teachers.

Official Recognition
Upgraded to Sowndeeswari Middle School with permanent recognition from the Tamil Nadu State Government.
